What Jesus did over 2000 years ago freed us!  It took care of every problem, every sickness, every lack, insufficiency and any and every form of depression.
Paul said I can do nothing without my mind!  We can only go as far as our minds
will take us.  But how do we get beyond the barriers of our mind?  Submission will
take you there.  Our trials are designed to destroy the yoke that binds us and God
begins with the mind it must be transformed.

We were shaped in this iniquity, whether through our parents, families, friends or our environment it all  got us to thinking the way we do.  This can sometimes be the hard part realizing and accepting what you have been exposed to was wrong or that it does not line up to the word of God.  Taking that honest look at yourself because the word is our guide that will lead us to righteousness and holiness.  The scripture says without Holiness no man shall see the Lord.  Holinesses is a mindset that comes for godly transformation of the mind;  it happens through letting go of the old you and embracing who God created you to be.  Many think Holiness is what you wear; that does not make you holy but Holiness will affect what you wear.

Now, Christ is asking you a simple question do you want to be made whole?  It is the same question He asked the man at the pool of Bethesda who laid there for 38 long years.  The power of the presence of Christ freed this man because he said yes.  That same power was released at the cross unto all of us.  The presence of the Lord wants to heal your mind and make it free, heal your heart and make it free and heal you soul. His hand is reaching out to you, receive it and believe it because You Are Free!

THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT TO A MAN, BUT ITS END IS THE WAY TO DEATH. PROV. 16:25.

Think about the worst intellectual match up possible. For instance, what if
we put Albert Einstein in a room with a first grader to debate the theory of
relativity? Or how about George Washington Carver versus a middle schooler
discussing biochemical engineering? It's silly to think of putting these pairs
together for discussions. One is the ultimate expert; the other would know
little if anything about the topic. Here's another one: God versus anyone
arguing about His plan for mankind. Now we're talking mismatch! Yet wisdom and how their way is better than His. I heard this story about man in prison who
said: "I came to the point in my life where I finally accepted the fact that God is real and the creator of everything. He grew tired of trying to do things his
way. When he started humbling himself and accepting God's word, he found the
answer.

How ridiculous to reject God's plan of salvation because we think we
know better! Only by placing our trust in Christ for the forgiveness of our sins
can we be reconciled to God (John 14:6 & Roman 3:23).

Are you still trying to do things your own way, thinking you know best? Agree with God and go His way! Jesus is not one of many ways to approach God, nor is He the best of several ways; HE IS THE ONLY WAY.   Happy Resurrection Day

AMEN!

PURE AND UNDEFILED RELIGION BEFORE GOD THE FATHER IS THIS: TO VISIT ORPHANS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR TROUBLE. JAMES 1:27.

I recently saw an ad for a brand of clothing geared toward youth. It
consists of blue jeans and all the accessories designed to go with them. There
is nothing novel about that. What got my attention, however, was the name of
this clothing line. It is called "True Religion". That caused me to stop and
think. Why was that name chosen? Am I missing some deeper significance? What is their connection between a brand of jeans and true religion? What do they mean by it?

My musings left me with questions for which I had no answer. I am
thankful that the book of James is clear when describing true religion or true
faith: Read James 1:27. That is refreshing.

"True Religion" is genuine faith, is an expression of how we relate to our God. One evidence of our new identity in Christ is the way we care for one another, reaching to the most frail and vulnerable among us, to those most in need of help. True religion is not a garment to be taken on or off. It is a lofty challenge about how we live before a Holy God and others. You don't advertise your religion by wearing a label, you do it by living a life.

AMEN!

I WILL RESTORE TO YOU THE YEARS THAT THE SWARMING LOCUST HAS EATEN. JOEL 2:25.

Sin eats away at us as we suffer the consequence of our own bad choices or
those of others. We are all it's victims. And from Isaiah we learn that the
Lord appointed him to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for
ashes. (Isa. 61:3) satan does everything he can to make us ugly, but the Light
of the World can make us beautiful.....despite Satan's best efforts. God doesn't

remove all our imperfections, but He makes us beautiful by shining through
them.  AMEN!

THE DEVIL WALKS ABOUT LIKE A ROARING LION, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR. 1 PETER 5:8.

When I was a small child and one one morning, I watched a rabbit at my
grandmothers house in the country nibble grass in her backyard. He was on the
small side, with brown flecked fur and a cotton-puff tail. Suddenly, a hawk
sliced through the air as fast and precise as lightning. With talons
outstretched, he snatched for his prey. But the rabbit recognized the
approaching danger and sped to safety, just inches ahead of the hawk.

Like the rabbit spotting its predator and scurrying away, we as Christians need to be watchful so that we can evade our enemy. "The devil walks like a roaring lion
trying his best to capture us from God. Satan wants to devour us by winning us
over to his ways; he does turkey toying with the truth (John 8:44) and trying to
deceive us (Gen. 3:1). The devil's schemes reflect his dishonest nature, and his
tricks are meant to catch us off guard. In response, Christians should be alert
and clear headed (1Peter 5:8).

Living in this state of active readiness helps us disarm false teaching and overcome temptation. today, watch out for your spiritual predator. What kind of lies is he whispering? How is he tempting you? Resist him and he will flee (James 4:7). the first step in the way to victory is to recognize the enemy.

So true! AMEN.
